I believe the eyepiece diopter lenses used on the M6 will fit all other M's.
My favorite is the +3. It screws into the existing bezel. The original
eyepiece is not removed. And, to Leica's credit, there is no distortion and
you get the full field. The lens becomes a natural part of the M. But, like
all Leica items, it doesn't come cheap. I'm still looking for a +3 for my CL.
Those are no longer made. 

One more thing. You can't wear glasses when you use a diopter. Everything
becomes blurred if you do. At least in my experience.
