I know it's a great lens; however, they must have had a quality control problem when I was trying to get a replacement. I think I returned three back to Leica before I gave up ;~)! My M line-up is: 1.) 21 f2.8. 2.) 35 f1.4. 3.) Noctilux. 4.) 90 f2.8. My R-line up is: 1.) 24 f2.8 2.) 35 f2. 3.) 80 f1.4 4.) 90 f2.8. 5.) 70-180 APO. 6.) 280 f4. Out of this grouping, my M 90 f2.8 gets little use at this point; therefore, it's the most logical candidate for a trade. However, I dislike trading Leica glass; you lose money & it's like trading family ;~)! In addition, I've decided to keep my R 90 f2.8; it's very light, balances well, & is a great performer. I can use my M 21mm f2.8 when I need a wide angle; thus, I'm going to hold off any purchase of a R 19 f2.8 for now. Thus, based on budget & hopefully, just plain common sense (although Leica glass works against that ;~); I'm going to try to be content for awhile! Tom D.
