I do have a Quantum unit with an adapter for the 283, and hadn't thought to try it as a test. (I don't usually carry it with me if I don't plan to do a lot of flash work, which I usually don't, so I probab;y hadn't ever tried it when the 283s seemed to fail.) Much appreciated!
