It is shared, even to this day, by macro-objectives such as the Zeiss Luminar and Leitz/Leica Photar lenses. As to who sells these, well, they are catch and catch can. I happened to get my Luminar at a camera show. The Photar lenses are still available new. I believe Rodenstock and Scheider also make like lenses.
