I'm currently using the Polaroid = SprintScan 35 Plus, which is one of the more expensive desktop models, = but which has a 3.3 dynamic range. Paul scan a step tablet ( transparent calibrated grayscale ) and = you=B4ll find that hardly get detail over 2.O density, I think manufactures use a different method to measure dynamic range, that term of optical density leaves me wonder how they do it.The same applies for Nikon Super cool scan Regards Jose luis
