I need a hand. I am a bit sentimental when it comes to things like these, but in your place I would call up Mr. Grimes and see what he would charge to recement it. It's probably cheaper than you think. If I like a lens, I'll pay to have it fixed. If I were a dealer, it'd be different -- I'd be reselling the lens and it would have to make economic sense to have it fixed. Because I'm not, I indulge my sentimental nature about these things (within an allowance) and I'm happier for it. - -Patrick
