He's right, since Ansel said many times he envied the young batch of photographers coming up. This IS a brave new world. But I think for those who are concerned with the ultimate quality, the option of shooting on film and then transferring to digital via a scanner is the best of both worlds. Photoshop can do amazing things with images, but what it can't do, yet, is make prints that are silky smooth in tonality and gradation. That's why we own Leica, right? Image quality is very important and a big part of why we use Leica. As a photojournalist, that's almost heresy for me to say that, but I am not deterred. I love photography for itself as well as my job. ========== Eric Welch St. Joseph, MO http://www.ponyexpress.net/~ewelch What is the probability that something will happen according to the odds?
