Subject: Re: Does anyone use the 50 R Summicron lens?

Well, some of us do! I have a newer 50/2 and an older two cam with
R-camconversion. Both seem about equal. I've used them on my R-7, R-4, SL,
and R-3 and in all cases, they are sharp, wide open, and the depth of field
is sufficient for even 'portraits'. I usually prefer the 90/2 for portraits,
but I carry the R-4 with the older 50 with me everywhere!
