The Leica booth was full of goodies but short on information. for instance, I asked how I could identify the ofder 90 2.8 from the current models and couldn't get a straight answer. He either didn't know or was just plain not interested. I was shown the chrome and told that it was just discontinued. The rest of the show was smaller than last years. A number of manufacturers were conspicuous by their absents and some, like Hasselblad had a smaller booth than in the past. Not that it wasn't worth going to, but several people that I spoke to are pessimistic about the shows future. I thaink that they should hold it somewhere in the north east where it wouldn't cost as much to participate. Maybe Phila.? Jack Gottlob
