There was no brand name on the packaging (at least not in non-Chinese characters), but the packaging says "Long Life Watch Cell HD1560/1.35V" and "MR9/EPX625/V625PX/RPX625", and the batteries themselves say "VINNIC HD1560 Mercury Cell". Interestingly, the voltages of the three batteries are: 1.350 1.423 1.437 I have never heard of a mercury battery being over its standard voltage (remember that in the old days, mercury batteries were used as a laboratory voltage reference standard). I also measured the voltage of a slightly used Wien Air Cell I had lying around, and it was 1.429 volts, which is not really that close to 1.35... Doug Braun
