THe M2R was the overrun sold by Leitz NY as the M2R. The military ones were decommissioned and sold. They usually have cosmetic defects. I've had two, #1164757 whuch was stolen in 1987, and #1164287 which I use daily. Both function(ed) perfectly. THey occur in thee 11643xxx and 1164xxx range. Adam
