I suppose it all depends how you're going to use it, if it's as a back up with the M6, then you should have the meter readiong capabilities of that too. If its as a back up to use when your M6 is dead then you'll probably resent carrying the extra meter, but I suppose it all depends on whether you're used to travelling light or carting around a large bag. Do you shoot 'on the fly' or do you read, adjust, compose, focus and then shoot? Horses for courses but I'd choose the MR4 Jem Kime ---------- From: 'leica-users@mejac.palo-alto.ca.us' To: KIMEJ44; 'leica-users@mejac.palo-alto.ca.us' Subject: Second M body Date: 23 October 1997 14:17 Today I purchased an M-4p as a back-up body for my M-6. My question is what meter would you recommend for the M-4P. I was offered an MR-4 for $200 but felt that this was an old meter and I don't know how reliable it is. The other meter I was considering is the Sekonic 308BII. Thanks for any help. Alan
