That's interesting. What I'm curious about is whether there is any way to use one of these with a handgrip. I just tried my M6 with a Noctilux on it and with the handgrip off, and it feels clumsy and difficult to hold without the more secure hold on it that a grip provides. And I tried it also with the regular M winder on it, and it still feels awkward with the Noctilux. I assume the Rapidwinder does not include a handgrip- and the separate handgrips mount onto the normal off-centre baseplate tripod socket, not a central socket. Is there any way around this difficulty, so I could use a Rapidwinder and still use a handgrip? Could a Rapidwinder be made with a tripod socket at the end as well, like the regular baseplate?
