If they only add 14mm to the height, this means that the camera will still
be coat-pocketable with one of these on it, assuming the right lens. That's
interesting.

What I'm curious about is whether there is any way to use one of these with
a handgrip. I just tried my M6 with a Noctilux on it and with the handgrip
off, and it feels clumsy and difficult to hold without the more secure hold
on it that a grip provides. And I tried it also with the regular M winder on
it, and it still feels awkward with the Noctilux. I assume the Rapidwinder
does not include a handgrip- and the separate handgrips mount onto the
normal off-centre baseplate tripod socket, not a central socket. Is there
any way around this difficulty, so I could use a Rapidwinder and still use a
handgrip? Could a Rapidwinder be made with a tripod socket at the end as
well, like the regular baseplate?
