This reminded me that I've done the same trick to keep my piano dry
during wet spells.  A 20W globe inside does the job but it does need to
be on continuously.  Now all I have to do is build a shelf for my lenses
in my piano.

Sometimes I forget my glasses so I like the aid of a split screen and
any other junk that fits in the middle.
