I read here on the LUG about having a couple extra M3 spools "preloaded"
with leader already in the inserted position. They're kept at the ready
and when it's time to reload you just insert both the film and spool at
the same time, advance a frame or two, replace baseplate and, voila,
back in action.

I do have the conversion kit for my M2 and I like that also but you do
have to be more diligent when loading to make sure that the leader
doesn't slip.
