Two common methods in use here, both of which seem effective;
 
cheap - fully air tight box with a lot of silica gel in it - change the
gel or dry it out every few months a sit loses its blue colour and
starts to go pale (depending on how often you open the box.

The other more expensive method is a proper humidity controlled
cupboard.  They come in various sizes - here they are about US$300 for a
1 foot cube.

Using the camera a lot and exposing the lens elements is of course the
best method - the uv inhibits fungus growth and you get to make some
photographs - the shots of the inside of the box look very boring after
a while;-)
