As I have stated previously, I think the Durst enlargers are the best available. I use the M605 (almost M6, so not so far off topic) and the L1200. I'm not really familiar with the 600. I have a Focomat V35 and have extensively used a Valoy II. I still prefer the Durst, set up with anti-newton glass on top and a metal mask on the bottom. I would recommend dumping the Nikon lens and getting a recent Rodenstock Rodagon or Schneider Componon-S, preferably an apo version. They are supposedly not really apochromatic, but they tend to be a bit sharper than anything else available.
