A possible culprit here? Were you using daylight lighting? A 2 stop difference at 1000 would put the shutter at 1/4000 second! = There must be another cause. Try the same test outdoors using chrome. Bob = = = = = = = = = = = =20 Maybe what you were capturing was the flicker of the flourescent tubes? = At any rate, my test was done outdoors with a clear sky. The strip of = film was contact printed so the printing can't explain differences = between frames. The vertical "banding" at 1000 has shown up on other = films at other times as well. All this on a brand new camera. Just goes = to show that Leica quality control could really be beefed up a bit. = Maybe they assume most buyers are collectors who never shoot a roll or = two. Off it went to Leica service today. Let's see what they say.
