Mine are softcover, and I've seen them listed from $25 to $100 each. The hardcover books are called "Leica, An Illustrated History". As far as I know Vol 3 on accessories is not out yet. Vol 1 and 2 sell new for around $125 each. Book bargains are still around. Just yesterday in a local bookstore I found "The Leica and the Leicaflex" by Scheerer/Makovec for only $4. Now if I could just find "The Europeans" by HCB for a similar bargain! Gary Todoroff P.S. Thanks for suggestions on keeping Leicas dry in Kodiak. I just checked out the extended forecast - nothing but rain for next week. > > My second question is the following. What do you pay for a James Lager, > > Leica Illustrated Guide (I, II, III).
