Rob, I had the Gare St. Lazare story confirmed to me by HCB's American
rep. She explained that that is why it is one of his few photos that is
not printed with a black border indicating full neg.

As for other books, the Museum of Modern Art put out a book a few years
ago that's still available called Cartier-Bresson: The Early Years. Lots
of text as well as photos. Helps put him in a historical context. Also
has several outtakes from well-known images so you have an idea of how
he was working a subject and most likely what attracted him to it in the
first place.
