You would do well to buy any of the M2,3,4,4-2,4P, or 6 models. More important than that is the condition of the camera you are buying. Align yourself with a local service person and have them check out any bodies you are considering. It may cost a few dollars to have a peek under the top plate, but remember: the money you save could be your own. If you cannot find such a person to help you out, at least check out Hans' site and read the info on used M bodies. While you're there read all the info on everything. Then go to Erwins's site and study ALL of the test reports in both English and Dutch. Report back here on October 18th to sit for your LUG admissions test. It's a gruelling 4 hour mutiple question/essay exam which is proctored by our head school master, Ted Grant. Round about the second hour of testing, Ted'll probably begin to drink single malt straight from the bottle and to regale you with stories about crushing blood engorged mosquitos with the base plate of an R8. Just don't look at the slides - they're grizzly! ,/8^| Sorry, I don't know what came over me. Regards, Ben W.
