Although slower, the older f 4.0 or 3.= 4 are > even better than the 2.8 (sharpness, contrast), and the Super Angulon i= s > better than the Elmarit (sharpness). This points out an advantage of the Contax Gs over the Leica. The Contax have both a TTL and a non-TTL meter. The Leicas (M6, M5, CL) only have TT= L metering so the lens designers are forced to design their lenses around this.
