The difference is, the images shot wide open develop a "feeling" and separation of subject that is quite beautiful and makes your photography stand out like no other. Obviously there are times when one must be stopped down to 22 or wherever. But by having 1/8000 to work with on well lit days allows you to shoot the wildest looking images one can imagine that look so diffferent from everyone elses work, viewers think you are a wonderkin photographer!:) And it's simply due to the high shutter speeds and wide open apertures. ted
