Usually the edges of the blades point toward the camera - with only the round hole visible from the front of the lens. On the 100mm Apo macro, the blades are reversed with the edges of the blades visible from the front of the lens. Photos seem tack sharp. I'm just not used to seeing the blades mounted in reverse. Do I have a real collector's item? Maybe Leica will want to buy it back for twice as much as I paid for it? Or maybe the lens was made on a Monday or Friday in Solms and someone at Leica wanted to play a cruel joke. Richard - ---------------------------- Richard Clompus, OD West Chester, Pensylvania, USA
