The G2's invisible IR auxillary focusing light takes care of that problem. It doesn't even seem to matter, because the camera draws so much attention simply by virtue of its offbeat titanium clad body. People think it's just a p/s, but their eyes kind of glaze over when they see you twist the lens off and replace it with another one.
