Has anyone noticed that the latest issue of Leica Fotographie (5/97 E) has
an article describing the new 35/2 ASPH lens for M Leica?  An interesting
point brought out in the article (and the admission of it surprises me
somewhat) is that, according to the Product Manager at Leica in Solms,  the
35/1.4 lens outperforms the newer lens in terms of contrast from f2 onwards.
