Outside of having the "glass" pressure plate replaced with a metal one, the main draw-back to the D/S is forgetting to cock the shutter twice; therefore missing that instant once in a life- time shot. This only happens when you shoot with other single stroke cameras & havent acquired the automatic D/S habit I also still have the IIIg that I bought at about the same time but used very little after acquiring the M-3. The screw mnt. red scale Elmar was fit with an adapter to use on the bayonet mnt and shutter speeds of 1/30 and 1/60 instead of 1/25 & 1/50 as the difference is insignificant.
