Not really, Detlef. Collectors to some extent, and thieves to a large=20
extent, but shooters, only to a very small extent. Most shooters shoot M=20
Leica because it is a unique item for their type of photography AND it=20
uses LEICA glass! Shooters use R Leica because it uses LEICA glass!

To shoot SLR with Canon, Nikon pro line equipment, the shooter will pay=20
the same sort of price for the body (here in the U.S., at least), and he=20
can't get LEICA glass.=20

Yep, it hurts when repairs are necessary. Take a Mercedes Benz in for=20
repair in the U.S., Wow! Yet, they sell very well.=20

BTW, what do they tell you about your recurring shutter problem? Seems=20
like the "lack of use" syndrome which doesn't appear to apply in your=20
case.

Also, BTW, Per Jim, your English is quite good. You ought to hear my=20
German. I have a friend in Braunschweig who, when I propose that he speak=
=20
German to me rather than English, told me, "Roger, your German is so bad=20
that I prefer to speak to you in English"! (You know how those guys are=20
from and near Hannover, they think that only they speak proper German)

           You can't win department:
Why is it that paychecks come less taxes, whereas,
everything you buy is plus taxes?
