When I did my last SLR upgrade a few years ago, I had a Nikon in my hands and was seriously considering a switch from Canon gear because of all the fuss about Nikons that you hear. There is just something about the way the camera sits in your hands that made me immediately uncomfortable with it. On the other hand, the A2e's controls are completely intuitive, down to the fumble-free placement of the shutter release and two control dials. The only other camera which feels better to use than my A2e is my M6 which seems to be way ahead in terms of solidity and build quality, but is quite a marvel ergonomically as well, considering that it is a manual camera.
