Hi LUG, hello Marc,
A couple of days ago I was at our local leica dealer ("Leica Representative!")
and asked about the new 2.0/35 Asph. They never heard of it. I pointed out,
that it was officially announced by Leica which made them rather uncomfortable
and they tried to tell me that there was no such lens...
On the other hand, they have a couple of books and this is where Marc comes
in: They have his book on Zeiss lenses. Since I was short of time, I only had
a very quick look. I was very pleased about the completeness of the work.
If I were interested in Zeiss lenses, I would buy the book immediately.
Some of the pictures, however, seemed to lack contrast. Marc, is this a
printing problem? Which camera/lens did you use?
Could you please include in your next book a short review of the newest Leica
lenses, just to inform the Leica Representatives in germany.
