I would like to find a good used R 6.2 but never seem to see one advertized or listed in Shutterbug. I can hear Ted in the background - telling me to get the R8. The R8 seems very nice but I'm still hung up on mechanical cameras. Same thing with watches. I got tired of changing batteries all the time and got a mechanical watch. Now when I get it cleaned and serviced, it only costs $400 instead of a $3 battery. Go figure. Where do all the used R 6.2 cameras go? I guess once you buy one, you never part with it. R6's and R6.2's aren't as common as R5's or R7's -- maybe not as many of them were sold in the first place. They cost more and have fewer "features." Or maybe people love them and keep them. When I went looking for an R6 to supplement my R6.2 last year, it took quite a while and involved some misadventures. I even sent mail to the LUG about it. I finally got lucky with Glazer's in Seattle. Their URL is http://www.glazerscamera.com/, and I would certainly do business with them again. But I don't know if they have any R6.2's. Good luck! - -Patrick
