[Author Prev] [Author Next] [Thread Prev] [Thread Next] [Author Index] [Topic Index] [Home] [Search]let's put it this way: one has the extra money and that he/she "thinks" it's worth it, get it. i didn't when i got my new M6 w/ 35/2. i used the money (plus a bit more) to get an used Nikon F3/T instead... :-) i don't know why but i'm not crazy about the M6 yet even though i've gotten a 50, a 90 and a 135 since then. btw, this is only within the last 5 months or so... my main tool is still my F4S. the F3/T and the M6 are the backup gears... and i'm starting to use my really old Hassy 500C a lot lately and guess which body i've been using to meter for the 500C? :-> humm! where did i put my FM2 and the F? ok, now i need to find a good F2AS and then save a whole lot of money to get the new F5... i may then come back to get a M3, then M4, then M2, then M5, then... oh i'm sorry, too much nikon. forgot i'm still in the leica group... :> now, if i buy another M6 body, i'll probably get a T and go back to the Liberty Island the try putting it on a tripod and have it dropped on the concrete ground to see if it survives, just like my FM2... - ------------ Orphy! :-) Email: orphy@opie.net orphy@netcom.com orphy@tum.net URL: http://www.opie.net/ ps. on a second thought, i may get another M6 later but i won't try the dropping myself. the FM2's self-timer is not working after that... oops! now, would someone else in the group would like to try it and let me know? :->>> On Sun, 6 Jul 1997, Robert Sharp wrote: > It's so enticing!
