Hi David: The 400/6.8 was available in two versions - 11960/R; 11966/Viso. Though the same head unit (11903) is used for both part numbers, the mounting tube differs. Visoflex uses a 11905 tube while the R uses 11906. I believe that both tubes were also bundled with the lens as an option. So it is possible that your lens has become separated from the 11906 tube I think you can use your present setup (11905) with the R via adapter 14167.
