I have this carrier as well, but it has two surfaces (on one glass). As far as I understand, the old Ic had only one surface to the outside. However, I don't have dust problems since I use a vacuum cleaner regularly before (and sometimes even after) I put the negatives in the carrier. It is much better than blowing the dust to some other place in the dark room. (We dry our lingery (correct english word?) in the room next door.
