Jim - I have the old carrier, too - I meant that w/ the one piece of glass you still have two surfaces to clean w/ the V35. The Ic lowers the condensor lens flat on top of the negative and seldom required cleaning. I like the idea of filing out the metal frame. There is always a small part of the negative covered up at one edge or the other. Speaking of darkrooms, has anyone had experience with the Ilford CAP40 processor for Ilfochrome? The JOBO paper cylinders do a good job, but are time consuming. Gary Todoroff
