Erwin? Ben? It sounds like a Tele-Elmarit M 90, the 90 that just preceded the current version. If so, I think $700 U.S. seems a bit on the high side. I own the lens and find it to be excellent. It is small and lightweight (it fits in the everready case), and delivers the goods. The current Elmarit is supposed to be the best of all the 90s, but is larger and heavier, as well as more expensive. Dan C.
