Ben Holmes: >I do, and you can too! Go to www.sekonic.com > >There is a listing of every model of meter, their features, and a little >picture of each. Pretty complete. I saw no information on the Sekonic website regarding the differences between obsoleted version of the L308B and the current L308BII. Jim Brick: >One thing I noticed in the Sekonic spec's is no mention of a built-in >correction feature. On the Gossen meter, you can enter various factors >(filter, bellows, etc... +7.9EV to -7.9EV) and it is automatically computed >into your reading. VERY handy. There is an indicator on the screen letting >you know that a correction is set (so you don't forget.) While I liked the idea of this feature, I kept accidentally hitting the wrong buttons every time I tried to do something with the Gossen meter. I tend to fudge the correction factors in my head anyway, and find I miss the warning indicator more often than not when I set a compensation value on those of my cameras that have them. As you say, it's very much a personal choice and not an advertisement for one meter manufacturer over another. Godfrey
