It seems I recall a movie with Clark Gable, possibly about the great fire, where the word "Frisco" was used a number of times. And city names for those of you who become upset in their use and short form versions it seems there is a new name for the City of Vancouver in Canada. I trust this will not be taken offensively but only as descriptive to the "Leica city" conversation. As many of you are aware, Hong Kong in a few short weeks will revert to communist China rule since it became a British colony many years ago. Due to that changeover there have been many folks of Hong Kong Chinese heritage moving to Vancouver to the extent that the new nick name for the great Canadian west coast jewel has become, "Hongcouver"! :) Some folks may see this as derogatory, that is not the intention, but merely to pass on how "names" can be developed. and that's my ten cents worth. :) ted Victoria, Canada http://www.islandnet.com/~tedgrant
