But the black chrome wears MUCH better than the >M2-M3-M4 black paint. Hans, I have a black M4-2, which looks like its previous owner carried it in a tool box with his hammers and wrenches. Even though it has numerous dings and very heavy wear, the black chrome has held up very well. It looks much better than it has a right to. - - Paul
