Leitz Wetzlar. In addition I have another pair identical to the pair mentioned above but made by Spindler & Hayer. Please tell me anything you can about either pair. I do not plan to sell them but what are they worth? The Leitz glasses are in excellent condition and the other pair are very good. Bill Any information you can give me will be appreciated. I recently sold a pair Leitz Navy ( K for Kreigsmarine) binoculars which had 08 marking on it. I thoughr this was the power but it was explained to me that it meant the year - 1908; just like guns - 30.06 means 30 caliber of the year 1906 ( still popular today). They were small & heavy & used in the first world war. Mine were in poor condidition, as most military versions were, but still realized $200 at a local camera show. Marvin
