If you want to know how bad or good your processing system is and the
freshness of your chemistry, CDU and CDUII will tell you. I looked at
my stock of CDUII and I received it back in September of 96. Seems
like a year though. I use a CPP2 (one shot processing and our
in-house cost for a 35mm dupe is 14 cents) but I covet a ATL processor.
 (wish I had the budget)

I had our CPP2 out to replace the motor and had to outlab for two
weeks. I gave up on doing any duplicates and wasn't thrilled with the
regular E-6 processing either but hey, I live in Ecuador. The new
CDUII has less color shift with exposure changes than the old, which is
NICE. The worst thing was that my bulb died the same day I began using
the new film and it threw off my calibration procedure. OH well.

I've got 700 dupes to do for next week so.......... back to work.
