I have found to estimate the correct exposure for multiples like this is quite easy and takes the guess work out of it. An example: normal asa 100 film. If you wish to shoot 4 frames, just rate the film at ASA 200. Shoot the 4 and the exposure will be right on. same film at ASA 400, requires 8 frames and ASA 800 requires 16 frames. So for literally any film it is only a matter of doubling the number of frames you wish for the ASA that you have set the film meter at a pushed exposure value for. I had tried a few at 8 exposures on one frame but it wasn't very successful, besides these kind of exposures require doing a number as you never know how good or bad they will be, until you are on the light table. Just as in "swishy pans" in sports. Thanks again for the suggestion. ted
