Ken - I have the opposite experience - the spectacled 35's activate the 
correct M6 or M4-P frame with or without goggles.  The benefit in 
exchange for the minimized image without goggles is no viewfinder 
smearing and a less awkward, (streamlined) pocketable assembly.

Ian - the Summaron is a good lens, but to me not as satisfying all around
as 
any of the Summicrons.  I have not used my Summaron is a long time. BTW,
