I have been looking at the catalogue, and I think the camera will look and feel even more balanced when the winder or motor is attached. Some have complained that the motor should have been built-in. But, I like the ability to choose. I have been in the feild and the batteries died, if it had been an internal motor I would have been done for the day. But i just took the motor off and kept on shooting. Especially on one of those all day shoots, you cna remove the motors and save yourself some weiht. John
