It is one of my favorite lens but not my most used one. The reason it is one of my favorites is because, when I do use it, I love the results. I use mine for some portrait work and I have also found it to be quite helpful for taking pics at a concert, play, etc The reason for this is usually I find that at these places I am to far away for a 50, but I still need the f/2 for the usual dim light. This lens has a nice big opening, but I don't have to be right there to get good pics. My carry kit consists of M-4 50 DR Summicron 90/2 Summicron and sometimes my only 35, a Sumaron, but I don't use it much in my work Hal >I am curious, how do you use your 90-mm lens. I use my 90 infrequently. >Sometimes, I need it to cut out telephone wires and other man-made things. >Infrequently, I use it for portraits. Unfortunately, I do not own a 90mm lens for my SL2. > >I have a book by Eisenstaedt which includes several magnificent photographs >taken with the 90mm lens on an M or LTM camera. > >Would you care to comment on your travel kit.
