( 35,50,75,90,135 (?) ) >Quieted shutter and stronger cocking mechanism.... can someone define >better? Is there a repairman who has seen the guts or an expanded view and >can make comment? no 75mm frame line (thank God!) 0,85X magnification sound of the shutter more like a M3 body cover with real leather instead of plastic. (no sign of use after 2 years of using) >Of Historical note only, and not adding to performance: >with 50MM Summicron (?) lens >Special branding and number sequence ??????What do you mean >Sounds like a fine user camera. I would hope that Leica would be looking >at ways to improve the "perfect" camera. It's really a fine user camera, it's always a pleasure to use it (not at all the same feeling you have with a black regular M6) >Could the M6J be the first run of a new M7? It seems that the M7 will be fully elecronic with same lenses. The M6 will continue with mabe a "M6 wide"=frame for 21,24,28,35 and a "M6 tele"= frame for 50,75,90,135 Or mabe the actual M6 plus a M6 tele with the frames of the M6-J. A dealer in Frankfurt regularely offer M3's with M6-J frames.(check http://www.germany.eu.net/shop/foto_hobby from time to time) It's like he have good connections at Solms. Lucien
