Why isn=B4t it engraved on the body like other Leicas, there sure= is enough space. And I really miss the beautiful classic Leica logo on the body=B4s top plate! If you remove the bottom of the camera and then remove the plate with the film loading schematic on it you will find the serial number underneath.
