I know something about other collectors' markets (as well as Leicas) and my observation is that a lot of collectors collect things they wanted when they were young and couldn't afford them, or didn't get them, new. (Examples: trading cards, toy trains, '50's cars, Star Wars figures, etc.). I've met quite a few Leica collectors like that. But I suppose you've got to be an adult to want a Leica, so.... Charles E.
