Just a thought... A.S. I think my original post came out a bit more harshly then I intended. All that I am saying is that the price of used leica gear is determined by supply and demand, and whenever someone sells something at a certain (higher) price, he/she is contributing to these market forces. A useful analogy is the phenomenon of automobile traffic jams on highways where there has been an accident. Everybody blames the other drivers for slowing down to have a look, but they never take their share of the blame, even though the traffic snarlups are caused by EVERYBODY slowing down, even if on an individual basis the slowdown is imperceptable. As I said in another post, I don't normally sell my Leica gear, but I suppose if I did I'd be a fool not to get the going rate. Dan C.
