If you like the results, nothing else is important and to hell with anyone who tells you that there is something wrong with YOUR choice of lenses for YOUR pics. One of the greatest and most influential still photogs of the last half of the 20th century is David Hamilton, who ONLY uses a 50 mm on a Minolta (of all things.) Or at least, that is all he used to use unless he changed lenses/cameras after becoming famous. Only the image and your happiness with it is important. Don't use this stuff about sharpness/contrast/lens choice as an excuse why you missed the great image or why your pics aren't good enough, cause it just ain't so. Stephen Gandy
